F.A.Q.’S
How many images are included?
I don’t set a limit on edited images! If I have amazing photos I am not going to withhold them! I guarantee a minimum of 300 edited images for weddings. Portrait sessions depend on how long we shoot for, but I typically deliver between 30-75 edited images.
Do you travel?
YES! I love to travel! Some of my favorite places I’ve photographed weddings and portraits have been in Hawaii, Banff National Park and on a catamaran in the Gulf of Mexico!
Do you require a deposit?
Yes! I require a 30% deposit at the time of booking for weddings. The rest of the payment is due one month before your wedding day! We can also set up a payment plan if that works better for your budget!
Lifestyle & Portraits require a 50% deposit and the remaining payment is due two weeks before shooting.
What equipment do you use?
I use a Canon R5 and 5d Mark IV body. Most of the day I will have a 35mm (which I use 95% of the time) and a 85mm (for those intimate close up photos) lens attached to my second camera body. I also have a 24-70mm lens for special scenarios that might require them. I use on camera flash to capture darker receptions. I occasionally use my Sony A7R4 for some photoshoots.
How long does it take to receive our photos?
I send a preview gallery within 1 week of your wedding date and the rest is finished up within 6 weeks of your wedding date. For engagement, couples, lifestyle and portrait photoshoots your entire gallery will be done within 3 weeks! I deliver your photos through a personalized online gallery where you can download, share and print your images!
Do you charge travel fees?
Yes I do. For weddings outside of Southwest Florida, I charge for the travel expenses (airfare, 2 night stay, and transportation) in addition to my normal rates.
Do you help with the timeline?
Absolutely I do! Prior to the wedding, you will receive a questionnaire that I use to create a custom photo timeline for your wedding day. Obviously, it is flexible and I do my best to accommodate all of your needs! After you fill out the questionnaire, we will hop on a video call and go over all the details.
Do you give RAW photos?
I do not give RAW files. Here’s why: mainly because there is a huge difference between a RAW unedited file vs an edited one. I under-expose in camera while shooting or have my camera in a certain setting that I know the final look of editing will enhance the outcome. So sending you the RAWs is like showing the “unfinished” part of photography. The editing is my special touch on top of the documenting skills.
